Question: Is the bag water resistant?
Answer: Yes, the Urban 21 Commuter Backpack is 100% water resistant. You can feel safe taking it out in a heavy rain.
It also has two pockets that are 100% waterproof, so if you wanted to go swimming with your bag, you could keep your valuables dry.
The Urban 21 Commuter Backpack also has a rain cover that can be purchased which will keep the outside of your bag clean and dry.
Question: Is there a pocket for laptops?
Answer: Yes, there is an insulated laptop pocket. And there is also a smaller pocket for your iPad. I don’t carry an iPad so I put my bike lock in the smaller pocket. (Bikers Rule! Sorry car people)
Question: Are there small pockets for passports and wallets that will keep your stuff safe?
Answer: Yes, we a hid a pocket in the back of the bag which is impossible to steal from if you are were wearing the backpack.
We also have 100% Waterproof hardshell built into the top of the backpack that has pockets for your wallet, passport, and other valuables.
Question: Are their pockets to organize smaller items like pens, glasses, and small notebooks?
Answer: Yes, the Urban 21 Commuter Backpack has a hard-shell built into the top of the bag. So you can store your glasses and other valuables without worrying about them getting crunched. (see pic above)
We also have a pocket organizer that is available for purchase with the bag. The pocket organizer has slots for your pens, your business cards, your wallet, and it can also carry your iPad.
Question: Does the Urban 21 Commuter Backpack have a pouch for a portable charger?
Answer: Yes, there is a dedicated pouch for a portable charger. You can run the charging cables from your charger through the hard-shell so you can charge your phone while keeping it safe in the hard-shell.
We will also be releasing a KeySmart branded portable charger that has 10000 mAh of power and an ultra-fast charging port. (Its also made from aluminum and feels/looks really nice.)
Question: When will the bag be released?
Answer: We are planning a presale on September 16 and then the first 500 bags will be shipped on September 25, 2018.
